CCT Research has grown tremendously, so we are adding a Content Marketing Writer to our team to help us fulfill the many plans we have for more growth. Ideal Candidate: 

As Content Marketing Writer, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing strategic marketing plans for our social media accounts and creating written content to attract potential clients and patients and retain existing ones. We specifically need someone who understands marketing and has strong copywriting skills for email campaigns, social media advertising, and native and display ads for engagement, nurturing, and conversion.

Our marketing team engages with B2B (Sponsors and Physicians) and B2C (Patient recruiting), so understanding how to coordinate messaging to specific audiences and channels is important. 

In collaboration with the Branding & Marketing Director, you will manage social media accounts and other technology solutions.

This role requires strategic thinking, creativity, and a broad understanding of CCT's business processes and the clinical research industry.  

Principal Responsibilities   

Collaborate and Assist the Branding & Marketing Director with:

  • Clinical Trials market research  
  • Copywriting to support social posts, blogs, press releases, and CCT-sponsored articles.  
  • Content creation for website and social media marketing and ads.  
  • Organize and manage social media using software like Buffer or similar tools.  
  • Email marketing, using software to manage contacts and campaigns.  
  • Ad campaign management– for branding & conversion  
  • Implementation of marketing directives  
  • Collaborate on new campaigns and strategies to increase market exposure and new business  
  • Support for multiple departments within the company  
  • Collaborate with several people on PowerPoint slides to assist various segments of the business  

Education:   

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred   
  • Equivalent relevant work experience will be considered.   

Experience:   

  • 5+ years of previous experience in a marketing or copywriting role (medical field preferred)
  • Experience in clinical research is preferred but not required  
  • Experience generating content for and managing social media campaigns  
  • Experience with entry-level team leadership.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:   

  • A content writer who gets excited about being able to lead, develop, execute, and measure the success of content campaigns
  • A talented storyteller who can speak to our different audiences
  • 5+ years of content marketing or direct copywriting experience
  • Project management skills and understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
  • Established expertise with content marketing strategy and multiple channels and press releases
  • Excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills
  • Clear, effective communicator—verbally and in writing—with the ability to be persuasive
  • Results-oriented; proven ability to prioritize, drive and achieve results through self and others under time pressure
  • Ability to analyze and present content and social performance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.   
  • Highly proficient with: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook business pages, Facebook Business Manager, Facebook Ads, Google AdWords, Google Analytics
  • Strong copywriting skills  
  • Follow brand guidelines when creating content. 
  • Ability to balance multiple concurrent projects based on company needs and team workload.   
  • Strong project and personal management skills to drive projects forward with virtual and in-person team members.  
  • Experience engaging with executive leadership.  
  • Strong interpersonal communication to establish rapport, credibility, and trust across business segments.   
  • Strong communication skills, including listening, writing and speaking.   
  • Self-motivated, organized, capable of multi-tasking, and attentive to details.   
  • Ability to operate with a high level of autonomy in novel situations.   
  • Ability to understand the big picture as well as dig into the details.   
  • Ability to think strategically, share ideas, and help implement ideas from the team.  
  • Experience with the IRB approval process is a bonus but not required.
